ProgYes Festival 2012 to Be Held at Knaresborough in UK

Progressive rock event ProgYes Festival is scheduled for this weekend, September 21-23 at Frazer Theatre in Knaresborough in England, near York.

The festival will be opened on Friday 21st with a performance from H2, an electronic jazz improvisation group. H2 will be supported by singer-songwriter Tim Hunter who will feature music from his new album ‘The Aura’.

On Saturday 22nd, SeYeS (yes tribute band) will return to ProgYes with classic material from the 1970s Yes catalog. SeyeS will be supported by a 3 piece version of the French Band ‘Silver Lining’.

On Sunday evening 23rd, the highly acclaimed Leeds based Manning progressive rock band are headlining. They are currently receiving rave reviews for their latest album ‘Margaret’s Children‘. These three headline concerts will be on the theatre main stage.

The festival is being held in the beautiful, historic countryside town of Knaresborough in North Yorkshire. It’s 15 miles from Leeds/Bradford Airport and only 18 miles from the historic city of York. On the North Yorkshire coast is Whitby.

Individual nights £10, all weekend £25.
