Pioneering multinational progressive psychedelic rock band Gong has a new album titled I See You (Madfish Records).

The current lineup of Gong includes vocalist and lyricist Daevid Allen, who, even at the age of seventy-five, still exudes a radiant creativity. His colleagues on I See You comprise Orlando Allen on drums, new guitarist Kavus Torabi (Knifeworld, The Cardiacs); horn player Ian East ‘Wind’; bassist Dave Sturt; and Brazilian guitarist Fabio Golfetti.

Tracks incloude This Revolution, a spoken piece that picks up on the feeling of Gil Scott-Heron’s ‘The Revolution Will Not Be Televised and articulates the kind of concerns and theories that have always inspired Daevid Allen and Gong. The album features ferocious inter-stellar funk, psychedelic blues and much more.
