AMBIcon, a space music festival and conference, will be held May 3-5, 2013 in San Rafael, California. AMBIcon 2013 is a weekend event hosted by Hearts of Space producer Stephen Hill. It is organized around 4 live surround-sound concerts featuring 2 artists in each, for a total of 8 individual performances by essential Hearts of Space musicians Hans Christian, Stephan Micus, Jeff Pearce, Robert Rich, Steve Roach, Michael Stearns, Stellamara, and Tim Story.

The Hearts of Space radio program was born in 1973 at KPFA-FM in Berkeley. It began national syndication 10 years later in 1983.
