Karmamoi Launch New Video ‘Black Hole Era’

Italian progressive rock band Karmamoi has released a new single titled ‘Black Hole Era’ extracted from the band’s upcoming album titled “Strings From The Edge Of Sound.”

Karmamoi are inspired by classic progressive rock music and modern influences as well. The lineup includes Daniele Giovannoni on drums, keyboards, and backing vocals; Valerio Sgargi on lead and backing vocals and keyboards; Alex Massari on guitars; and Alessandro Cefalì on bass.

Karmamoi is a progressive rock band formed in 2008 by drummer and composer Daniele Giovannoni. They started performing in Italy and Europe, and in 2011, they released their first album, “Karmamoi,” with Italian lyrics.

In 2013, they released their second album, “Odd Trip,” which marked a shift to English lyrics and received positive reviews. Their third album, “Silence Between Sounds,” was released in 2016 and was well-received globally.

In 2018, they released their fourth studio album, “The Day is Done,” featuring guest musicians Colin Edwin and Geoff Leigh. They performed at various festivals and events, including ROSFEST in the United States.

During the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, they worked on their fifth album, “Room 101,” inspired by George Orwell’s “1984.”

In 2022, they released the singles “Which Dreams” and “Tamed Shadows” and welcomed Valerio Sgargi as their new singer.

“Strings From The Edge Of Sound” is scheduled for release September 1st, 2023
