Swedish Vocalist Mikael Åkerfeldt to Collaborate with Steve Hackett

In a brief announcement that appeared in the Opeth website, Mikael Åkerfeldt, vocalist of Swedish heavy metal band Opeth, announced that he has collaborated with former Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett in the re-recording of the legendary progressive rock suite ‘Supper’s Ready.’

The much loved epic ‘Supper’s Ready’ was part of the classic Genesis album titled Foxtrot. Steve Hackett participated in most of Genesis’ finest progressive rock-era albums.
