Space rock band Amplifier has a new album titled Echo Street (Kscope) that is set for release March 11th. Echo Street is Amplifier ‘s first album with the new four-piece line-up.
The band led by Sel Balamir (guitars) and Matt Brobin (drums) includes a mix of their epic space rock jams with accessible pieces featuring three-part vocal harmonies – sung by Sel, former Oceansize musician Steve Durose (second guitar) and Alex ‘Magnum’ Redhead (bass).
“I guess the people are going to be expecting something like a follow-up to The Octopus – but Echo Street isn’t like that at all,” says Sel: “It’s important that people understand that not everything will be like what has gone before. I never want to repeat myself.”
The album is available on CD, double vinyl and as a limited, deluxe two disc edition. The deluxe edition is packaged in a 60 page hardback book and also features the new Sunriders EP an additional record of new tunes, exclusive to this release.
