Legendary Italian progressive rock band Goblin recently reformed and went back into the studio to re-record 4 classic tracks for a new Tour EP. The original pieces have been updated to sound more in line with their current live set up.
The Tour 2013 EP will be released exclusively by Death Waltz Recording Co. to support Goblin’s current world tour. The EP will be released on attrasctive 180 gram red vinyl cut at 45rpm, with exclusive cover art by legendary artist Graham Humphreys (Nightmare on Elm Street, Evil Dead, Basket Case, etc.)
Goblin will play in Los Angeles for the first time in their 40 year history, as part of this year’s Beyond Fest (Oct. 21-23). The band will perform a full, live set pulled from their most iconic scores, including: Dario Argento’s classics Suspiria, Tenebrae, and Deep Red; George A. Romero’s groundbreaking Dawn of the Dead, Roller, Il fantastico Viaggio del Bagarozzo Mark; and the most recent Back to the Goblin.
Other famous scores never performed live anywhere will be included in this show. Goblin’s performance will be followed by a rare 35mm screening of Dario Argento’s 1977 horror masterpiece, Suspiria.
