Darryl Way
Ultra Violins (Cherry Red Records, 2013)
In the 1970s, the majority of progressive rock soloists were guitarists and keyboardists. Curved Air stood out because violin played the leading role. Darryl Way was a co-founder and his violin appeared on the best albums by Curved Air. He later created a progressive rock band called Wolf. Ultra Violinsis Way’s latest work, his first solo album in over 20 years.
