British progressive symphonic rock band The Enid announced that bassist, percussionist and guitarist Nic Willes has decided to leave the band. Nic Willes had been performing with The Enid since 2010. Dom Tofield has taken over Nic’s role, playing bass and percussion.
The Enid is using this opportunity to expand both Dave and Dom’s percussive roles within the band. Dom has also written and performed most of the drum parts on the new album First Light.
“We will always leave a window of opportunity open to Nic, and continue to keep him close as he spends much of his free time socializing with us at Enid HQ,” said a band statement.
