Former Genesis guitarist Anthony Phillips has a new 5 CD collection titled Harvest of the Heart – An Anthology (Cherry Red).
Anthony Phillips recorded two albums with Genesis, From Genesis to Revelation (1969) and the celebrated progressive rock classic Trespass (1970). After leaving the group in 1970, Anthony studied orchestration and harmony externally at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. After passing his LGSM exams, he taught music at Reeds School and Pepper Harrow while continuing to compose and record in his home studio.

His extensive back catalog is celebrated with the release of Harvest of the Heart a 5CD deluxe boxed set that celebrates Anthony’s rich musical heritage by featuring recordings made between 1969 and the present day, drawn from his many albums.
In addition the set will include ten previously unreleased tracks, the unreleased 1973 recording Silver Song (featuring Phil Collins as vocalist) and the rare track Compression by Mike Rutherford, (previously unreleased on CD) that includes Anthony and was the B-side to Mikes 1980 single Working in Line.
