Nad Sylvan, the vocalist for progressive rock guitarist Steve Hackett and Swedish band Agents of Mercy will be releasing his upcoming solo album on InsideOutMusic. The recording is scheduled for release in October 2015. “Finally, after 40 years of fighting for it, I get a first class record deal,” said Nad Sylvan.
In the past months, Nad has been performing together with celebrated guitarist and composer Steve Hackett as part of his Genesis Revisited show.
“In a little less than four years, I was snatched up by two iconic guitarists, namely Roine Stolt and then Steve Hackett. That must mean something to the world, because it sure means an awful lot to me“, added Sylvan.
Nad Sylvan formed Agents of Mercy along with Swedish guitarist Roine Stolt (Kaipa, The Flower Kings, Transatlantic) in 2009, and have released three albums to date: Dramarama, Fading Ghosts of Twilight and The Black Forest.
The record label did not reveal if Nad Sylvan’s album will be a progressive rock production.
