Starting from Zero showcases the talent of masterful guitarist Shawn Christie. Shawn Christie uses a wide range of acoustic and electric guitars and is deeply influenced by Joe Satriani as well as progressive rock, Americana, blues and jazz-rock fusion.
The album is finely constructed and is a real treat for instrumental electric guitar , including delicious interplay on three tracks with guest guitarists Brett Garsed and Allen Hinds.
The band includes Timothy Esterly on bass and Josh Orlando on drums. Guests include Brian Fitzgerald on fiddle, Anil Veeraraj on keyboards, and the previously mentioned Brett Garsed and Allen Hinds on electric guitar solos.
