Glass Museum – Reykjavik (Sdban Records, 2020)
Glass Museum is part of a remarkable new wave of European acts that have renovated the contemporary jazz scene. Glass Museum performs deeply mesmerizing instrumental that incorporates jazz piano, trance-like electronics, minimalism and exquisite, creative percussion.
Reykjavik is Glass Museum’s second album: “We have a much more mature relationship with music than we did before,” reveals synthesist Antoine Flipo. “We’re not trying to prove something through technique anymore – we want to bring sounds to life.”
Glass Museum is based in Brussels, Belgium, and features Antoine Flipo on synthesizers and piano and Martin Grégoire on drums. Their debut album was Deux (2018).
