Morpheus Project Releases Progressive Rock Track ‘Mozaick’

Morpheus Project, the progressive rock project of classical music composer and musician Mustafa Khetty, has released an epic track titled ‘Mozaick.’ In addition to classic progressive rock, Morpheus Project adds world music elements such as Latin American rhythms; indigenous Turkish and Syrian instruments; as well as Near Eastern and jazz-fusion influences. ‘Mozaick’ features over thirty instruments and 140 separate tracks.

Mustafa Khetty was born in Sri Lanka and lived in Ireland, the UK, Middle East and Far East. Mustafa Khetty’s musical journey started with his early exposure to Indian classical music and later to western classical, progressive rock and many other genres.

He started writing music at the age of 12 and scored the first sketches of a Rock/Classical fusion concerto, toccata and fugue and other pieces by 15. Similarly, his passion for progressive rock, in particular Yes, helped to stimulate his passion for adventure, experiencing different cultures and expanding his imagination.

Khetty’s previous releases include two classical works, ‘Requiem for New Zealand’ and ‘Solace.’
