SoundDiary is a fine progressive rock band from Austria. Anamnesis – Letter in a Bottle is their concept album divided into five acts with vocals in English.
On Anamnesis – Letter in a Bottle you’ll find influences from progressive rock-era Genesis, Pink Floyd, and some recent rock bands like Porcupine Tree as well trippy space rock moments. The album contains some hard rock sections, but they are not frequent and don’t overwhelm the overall feel.
SoundDiary includes Hannes Pichlmann on vocals and guitars; Stefan Pichlmann on keyboards and sampling; Merlin Hochmeier on bass; and Clemens Langbauer on drums and percussion.
