LRK Trio is a superb Russian contemporary jazz outfit. The Trio plays exquisite cutting edge instrumental music centered on the crystalline piano, electronics, bass and drums. On their new album Memory you’ll find a mix of masterfully performed progressive jazz, cinematic instrumental, progressive rock elements, and trip hop beats.
The lineup includes virtuoso musicians Evgeny Lebedev on piano and synthesizer; Anton Revnyuk on acoustic and electric bass, programming; Ignat Kravtsov on drums, sampling pad, percussion, and metallophone. Guests: Grech Piotrowski on soprano sax; and Ensemble Alyonushka on vocals.
