Electronic music composer, instrument designer, painter, sculptor, and multi-media producer Constance Demby died on March 20, 2021.
Demby became well known in the mid-1980s with her recordings that brought together ambient, space and symphonic electronic music. Her albums sold very well in the thriving new age music market during the mid to late 1980s. Her most significant album was Novus Magnificat (Hearts of Space, 1986).
