I was lucky to have met Eric Bouillette. It was only for about an hour. I met him in an interview, talking with his wife Anne-Claire Rallo, about one of his favorite projects Solace Supplice. It was not long enough to really know Eric; but sometimes you can understand someone quickly; and see the creativity, hope and wonder in their eyes, immediately. You can also feel, for the effort and love they are putting into a project from the way they discuss it. Like it was their only child. Eric, and Anne-Claire did that interview not knowing what lie ahead, in the near future. They took me through their journey together, and I am so thankful that I met them both.
So yes, Eric was an angel, and this new tribute to him is well deserved. It is created with love, for an artist who gave so much to those who contributed to this wonderful remembrance. So, I ask you to treat this album with respect and enjoy hearing this tribute to Eric, from some of his favorite admirers; created in his remembrance.
Tribute to Eric Bouillette – Songs for an Angel, will be released February 14, 2023, on the FTF-Music label.
Every song on this album was written with care and love. Those who participated on this tribute album, contributed their favorite songs from or for Eric, as a gift to him, and for us, and for…the future. I really had only heard three albums with Eric’s involvement. The aforementioned Solace Supplice, Debut; Nine Skies, 5.20; and Imaginaerium’s The Rise of Medici. All of them were works of art and well produced and played albums. Eric was a creative spirit with no end, and a strong depth of perception. You can hear this throughout the music he played and this collection, Volume One, is a strong hint that there is, was, and will be so much more.
My favorite songs on the album are…all of them. All of them, contain bits and pieces of the inspiration and appreciation for this great musician.
If you are new, as I still feel I am, to the works of this great master; please partake of this tribute as a wonderful introduction to the man and his music. Eric passed way too soon for all of us to appreciate. Get this great collection of his works, and those inspired by his life, to acquainted yourself with what passed before you and I before we could fully appreciate it all. Get this memorable collection and pray for more to follow.

Eric will be remembered for the prolific volume of his work and his indomitable spirit that captured light, and took it beyond!
