Aaron Lebos Reality – 141 Layers Of Ikigai (self-release, 2019)
Aaron Lebos Reality released “141 Layers of Ikigai” in 2019. It presents the impressive skills of the Miami-based guitar maestro and composer. He spent a year creating and recording the album, highlighting his characteristic brand of funk intertwined with flavorful instrumental progressive rock, fusion and laid back blues-rock. Collaborating with some of the most talented musicians in Miami, Aaron’s distinctive guitar style takes center stage.
This album proved to be the most challenging project for Aaron, who aimed to surpass his previous works in every aspect. Thus, he had to repeatedly pause, reassess and regroup before completing it. Nonetheless, he was satisfied with the outcome, having taken the arrangements, grooves, tones of every instrument, keyboard textures, and his guitar playing to the next level. The opening track, Phoenix, is a tribute to Aaron’s beloved two-year-old son, whom he hopes to create music with someday.
Having been a crucial part of South Florida’s music scene for over two decades, Aaron Lebos has become a sought-after session player and performer, thanks to his versatility and proficiency in various genres. In addition, he has relentlessly pursued his passion for original music, performing with his band, Aaron Lebos Reality, on tours across the American Southeast and East coast.
