The Stick Men (Bootlegs) have recently dropped their latest release, “The Wayfarer, Costa Mesa, CA (Matrix Recording),” on February 22, 2023.
This particular recording was not authorized by the band and was taken from an unknown source in the audience. Despite this, it has been widely circulated on the internet and is now being made available officially for the purposes of archiving, historical research, and for fans and collectors to enjoy. Each show in this series is being offered at a reasonable price, and the proceeds will be divided equally among the four individuals who collaborated to create the music: Tony, Markus, Pat, and Robert.
The Stick Men have a plethora of audience recordings lined up for this series, including unauthorized recordings like this one, as well as Robert Frazza’s board mixes and numerous multi-track recordings that are yet to be mixed. More will be added in due time.
This release was made available on February 27, 2023, and features the following artists: Tony Levin on Chapman Stick and vocals; Markus Reuter on Touch Guitars U8 Custom and live looping; Pat Mastelotto on drums, loops, and samples; and Robert Frazza as the F.O.H. engineer.
