Progressive Rock Side of Five Moons to Introduce the Diverse Spanish Prog-Rock Scene

The Progressive Rock Side of Five Moons (5 Lunas Producciones), is a new anthology that is meant to commemorate and disseminate the past and present of Spanish progressive rock.

5 Lunas Producciones is set to unveil the first two volumes of this exclusive series on May 7, 2024. This marks the commencement of an exploration into the obscure and lesser-known works, as well as the innovative creations within the progressive rock genre in Spain.

Progressive Rock Side of Five Moons transcends being merely a compilation of musical tracks; it serves as a voyage through the history and evolution of progressive rock in Spain. This genre adeptly intertwines technique, emotion, and a unique narrative in its compositions. Each volume is meticulously curated to present not only the classic sounds defining this style, but also to unveil previously unreleased recordings and exclusive material from current bands. In addition, the collection will feature artists who, for various reasons, were unable to release their work. In doing so, the producers present a fresh and comprehensive perspective of the Spanish progressive music scene, accompanied by a collector’s edition featuring detailed information.

Through the releases of Progressive Rock Side of Five Moons, 5 Lunas Producciones aims to connect with fans, collectors, and new listeners alike, encouraging them to delve into the complexity and beauty of Spanish progressive rock.

This collection serves as a tribute to the creativity, experimentation, and avant-garde spirit synonymous with progressive rock, with the goal of not only preserving its legacy but also inspiring future generations of musicians and music enthusiasts.

The albums will be available from 5lunas.net as well as various progressive rock outlets.
