Alex Henry Foster has released the video for “A Vessel Astray,” a track from his recently released album, Kimiyo. Inspired by the Japanese concept of soul cleansing, the song centers on themes of acceptance, honesty, and acknowledgment of the past. The lyrics explore self-deception, lost opportunities, and a renewed perspective on personal dreams and purpose, aiming to offer emotional clarity and redefine one’s life path.
The music video for “A Vessel Astray” is an excerpt from the movie Voyage à la Mer, a film produced by Foster, set to premiere this fall. In addition to Voyage à la Mer and Kimiyo, Foster has created two more projects: the album A Measure of Shape and Sounds and the live improvisation and conversation series Of Flashes and Other Currents, both scheduled for release in 2024.
