The Third International Gathering of Progressive Music, MoonJune Festival 2024, will be held in Guadamur, 12 kilometers from Toledo, Spain. Concerts will take place in the 400-seat Auditorio Teatro Guadamur on September 20, 21, and 22. A Welcome Party on September 19 will be held in various venues in Guadamur, while late morning events on September 20 and 21 will be in the old town of Toledo. Previous editions were in 2002 (Jajce, Bosnia and Herzegovina) and 2023 (Toledo, Spain).
This year’s lineup includes Dr. Bill Bruford (not performing), David Cross Band, Nik Bärtsch, Gary Husband & Nguyen Le, Luca Calabrese with Markus Reuter and Alexander Dowerk, Beledo & His Friends, The Wrong Object, Quartet Diminished, Susan Clynes, Boris Savoldelli, Anthony Garone, Anton Roolaart, and Sid Smith. Additional special guests will be announced.
Musicians are from the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Ireland, the United States, Uruguay, Iran, and potentially Israel and Indonesia.
Festival attendees have booked from around the world, including the USA, Brazil, Indonesia, Italy, Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Sweden, Estonia, Poland, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, and various parts of Spain: Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona, San Sebastian, Cádiz, Jérez de la Frontera, Malaga, Sevilla, Ciudad Real, and Toledo.
The Festival is supported by Guadamur’s mayor, Sagrario Gutierrez. It is curated by Leonardo Pavkovic of MoonJune Music and features artists from MoonJune Records or MoonJune Music Booking & Management.
