Nad Sylvan, best known as the longtime vocalist for Steve Hackett, returns with a new solo album, Monumentata, set for release on June 20, 2025, via InsideOutMusic.

Sylvan skillfully combines progressive rock’s charm with elements of folk, western classical, and modern rock, crafting a sound rooted in tradition yet attuned to the present.

His latest single, “Monte Carlo Priceless,” channels 1960s nostalgia with cinematic flair, offering a preview of the album’s more personal, emotionally vulnerable tone.

Sylvan shared: “My parents, who frequently visited Monte Carlo, were huge fans, and my dad even befriended Bacharach during his time in the tennis jet set life. However, the song’s lyrics have no connection to my folks. It’s about an abused woman who, at the last minute, goes to Monaco to have a facelift and start a new life.”
