Loren Nerell – Aquaticus (self-release, 2025)
Ambient electronic music composer and synthesist Loren Nerell has released Aquaticus, a free long-form track now available on Bandcamp. Originally created in 2010 for a film screened during an art gallery fundraiser, the spellbinding, slow evolving 1 hour 35 minute piece combines multiple elements into a continuous soundscape.
Though the track remained unreleased for years, Nerell has now made it public, describing it as “too good just to sit there.” The release offers listeners a rare glimpse into his archival work and early 2010s work.
