I had a great time talking today, with Mission Jupiter in The Noble Shire for Progressive Discussion at Progressive Rock Central!
Vladimir Shvakel, lead guitarist, backing vocalist, and band leader; and Eugene Zuyeu, the band’s drummer, joined me today to discuss all things, Mission Jupiter.
Although we had a great discussion, I just want to say that I hope that next time we talk, that their country, Belarus, the Ukraine, Israel, and the USA will be under different political leadership. I can remember when I was their age, with such hope and promise, and at the top of their ‘game.’ However, I was free to pursue my career, in a democracy. These great artists are trying to make their way through the political maze placed before them, and this band is making it successfully. However, it is difficult. Anything you can say or do to help this and other bands who are fighting to make it to their stage; please do help them. They want to bring you the music you love. And, as the Beatles once sang, we can all “use a little help from our friends,’ and people who care.
