London band oreglo released the digital single “The Whirr” on October 29 via Brownswood Recordings. The track is the title cut from the EP The Whirr, due November 28 on the same label.
“The Whirr” brings together aggressive rock guitar, drill-inspired rhythms with gentle, retro-leaning melodies. It follows this month’s lead single “Bosté” and March’s standalone track “Passion Dance.”
In a statement, the band said: “ ‘The Whirr’ hits straight away—heavy, loud, alive—then melts into something softer and more psychedelic. It’s a turning point for us, bridging our instrumental roots with a more vocal, song-driven sound. It’s a glimpse of where oreglo is heading next.”
