Fiona Brice Circles In With “Think Loop 3”

Fiona Brice has released her new single “Think Loop 3” offering a preview of her upcoming EP Think Loops on the Bigo & Twigetti label. Brice describes the track as “a minimalist nocturne.” She explains that arpeggiated figures rise from darker registers before resolving into melody as the harmony shifts downward.

Moreover, the release continues a varied career that includes orchestral arrangement and live performance. Brice has collaborated and toured with artists such as Liam Gallagher, Elbow, and Johnny Marr. More recently, she contributed to The Traitors Prom broadcast on BBC One.

In addition, her solo catalogue, released through Bella Union and Bigo & Twigetti, has received critical attention for its compositional focus and evolving approach.

The forthcoming EP Think Loops features five piano-led pieces crafted with layered patterns and gradual variation. Each composition reflects brief, recurring musical ideas that develop through repetition and subtle shifts.

Brice states that the material stems from persistent fragments that surface during improvisation. She notes that these motifs demand development until they take full form. Recording took place in Oxfordshire at Ed Harcourt’s studio, where the pair worked on a grand piano they frequently use in collaboration.
