French band Flavien has a new single out titled “Cinta Felusi” on the Artanos label. The band performs a mix of dreamy neomedieval music, ambient environments and Nordic-style folk music.
“Cinta Felusi” is included on the album “Alcare.” The text is a translation in Elvish (Quenya – a language invented and written by Tolkien) of a story written initially in French: “In the forest, the main character gallops towards a castle, he tells us about his unexpected encounter with an enchantress.”
In this story, it is described that love, our encounters and what we go through in life is sometimes like the cycle of the four seasons in nature: birth, growth, blooming, withering, death and rebirth with a new future cycle.
“Fille de l’hiver
Petite sorcière
A la vie éphémère
(Daughter of winter
Little Enchantress
With fleeting life)
Yen et ‘hrive
Cinta felusi
Et i cuivie rinqua”
