NJ Proghouse Prog Camp 2023, the highly anticipated one-day event showcasing the finest in progressive rock music, has unveiled its host hotel: The Comfort Inn & Suites Somerset – New Brunswick.
Progressive rock enthusiasts should be aware that tickets for this gathering are in exceedingly short supply. Although sales have thus far been brisk, a limited number of tickets still remain. If tickets are sold out, no on-the-spot sales will be available.
Prog Camp 2023 will present a stellar lineup of progressive rock luminaries including Dave Bainbridge (Iona, The Strawbs, and Lifesigns); Randy McStine, affiliated with The Fringe, McStine & Minnemann, and Porcupine Tree; Stanley Whitaker hailing from Happy the Man and Oblivion Sun; Tribe of Names, comprised of Simon Godfrey, Tom Hyatt, Karl Eisenhart, and Scott Miller. Joining this lineup are John Galgano of IZZ fame and Ray Weston from Echolyn.
The event will take place Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Camp Oak Spring venue, nestled at 228 Weston Road, Somerset, NJ 08873. To complement the musical experience, attendees will have the opportunity to savor an assortment of culinary offerings, including burgers, hot dogs, and BBQ delicacies. Festivalgioers are welcome to bring coolers, pop-up canopies, and chairs to enhance their comfort and enjoyment.
