Jethro Tull has released “The Tipu House”, the second single from their upcoming album, Curious Ruminant, following the title track’s debut in January. The accompanying video is directed by Costin Chioreanu, marking another collaboration with the band.
Ian Anderson describes “The Tipu House” as a reflection on perseverance through adversity, highlighting the achievements of individuals who rise from humble beginnings to prominence.
Curious Ruminant features nine new tracks, ranging from two and a half minutes to nearly seventeen minutes in length. The album primarily showcases full-band arrangements and includes contributions from former keyboardist Andrew Giddings and drummer James Duncan, alongside current members David Goodier, John O’Hara, Scott Hammond, and guitarist Jack Clark, who makes his recording debut with the band.
