Irish composer and producer BK Pepper has released new single “So You Know,” the title track from his forthcoming second album, Pagan. The track is out now on London-based independent label Bigo & Twigetti, with the full album scheduled for release on 27 February, 2026.
Pepper describes “So You Know” as pulsing “with bittersweet hope and a mantra of solace – ‘just so you know you’re not alone’.” The song combines haunting vocals with a driving beat, supported by rich orchestration and delicate piano, and offers an early indication of the mood and scope of Pagan.
The new album continues Pepper’s move toward an electronic-influenced sound. “I’ve realized what comes naturally to me when I write, I try to keep that essence but also push myself in new directions,” he explains. “This record has more electronic soundscape to some of the tracks… I feel my work is leaning more and more into the electronic music world.”
Collaborations on Pagan include violinist Viktor Orri Árnason, the Czech National Symphony Orchestra and Ireland’s Glasshouse Ensemble.
BK Pepper, also known as Bryan Kevin Pepper, works in film, television, advertising, gaming and live performance. His debut album Territories (2020) featured recordings made in spaces ranging from Abbey Road Studios to a converted swimming pool, and was followed by the performance film From an Empty Castle (2021).

Recent screen work includes the score for Swing Bout, which reached movie theaters in 2024 and later Apple TV in 2025.
