West coast progressive rock band ScienceNV announced the release of two singles. The recordings are both edits of an epic piece from the Pacific Circumstances album. The first of those singles will be released on August 15th. Both singles come from the closing track on the Pacific Circumstances album, “The Ouroborus Variations.” The first of the singles is titled “Swollen Ego” and is the third movement of the composition. It’s described as a quick and energized piece of music.
San Francisco-based band ScienceNV was created in 2005 by Larry Davis (guitar and bass guitar), David Graves (keyboards), Jim Henriques (guitar and keyboards) and Rich Kallet (drums). Their debut album Really Loud Noises came out in 2008, followed by Pacific Circumstances (2010) and the recently issued Last Album Before the End of Time (2013).
