Italian keyboard virtuoso Alex Carpani has a new album titled 4 Destinies (Festival Music / F2 Music). The Alex Carpani Band (ACB) includes Alex Carpani on keyboards & lead vocals; Ettore Salati (former The Watch) on guitars; Joe Sal on vocals; Giambattista Giorgi on bass and Alessandro Di Caprio on drums. David Jackson (Van der Graaf Generator) plays saxophones and flutes on the new album
ACB was formed in late 2006 to perform Alex’s debut album ‘Waterline‘ live throughout the world, and it’s now one of the top Italian progressive rock bands of the contemporary scene.
Carpani met Keith Emerson (Emerson Lake and Palmer) at the age of 7 and this was fundamental in his musical education. Emerson’s son Aaron was a classmate in his parents’ college in Switzerland, and from this moment progressive rock and the love for keyboards became part of his life, influencing his style and future music experiences.
