The MoonJune label continues exploring the Indonesian jazz-rock fusion goldmine. This time it’s a fabulous composer and keyboardist named Dwiki Dharmawan that will delight fans of world class progressive fusion.

Dwiki Dharmawan is joined by some of the finest fusion musicians from the USA and Indonesia. Dwiki plays a wide range of electronic keyboards, ranging from piano to synthesizers.

“So Far, So Close” presents stellar performances by Dwiki and all his guests ranging from knockout jams to beautiful structured pieces giving plenty of opportunities to all the musicians who participated in the recording..

One of the highest profile guests is iconic electric violinist Jerry Goodman who appears on track 1. The rest of the band includes Chad Wackerman on drums; Jimmy Haslip on bass; Dewa Budjana on electric guitar; Tohpati on electric and acoustic guitar; and I Nyoman Windha on Balinese kendang, Gamelan Jegog, suling and vocals.
