The cover of Aurora by Yes features an otherworldly landscape illuminated by brilliant green, turquoise, blue, and purple northern lights. Strange, spiky alien vegetation surrounds a luminous icy expanse beneath a star-filled sky. A twisted tree branch stretches across the scene, while the band's ornate red-and-yellow logo floats near the top.

Yes Celebrate Greek Mythology with “Ariadne”

Progressive rock band Yes recently released a video of the song “Ariadne” from their 2026 album Aurora. Matt Hutchings directed the video.

“‘Ariadne’ was one of those songs that seemed to reveal itself as we were writing it,” said vocalist Jon Davison. “I’ve been captivated by Greek mythology since I was a child, so there was something particularly exciting for me about exploring the story of Ariadne through music. There’s a wonderful sense of mystery and discovery in the song, and that’s what I love most about it. I’m really proud of what we created together, and I hope people feel that same sense of discovery and wonder when they hear it.”
