Renowned American progressive rock band Spock’s Beard has announced the release of its 11th studio album titled Brief Nocturnes and Dreamless Sleep. The new recording is set for release on March 1, 2013. The band is currently taking preorders for a Limited Edition. “Proceeds from this preorder are a necessary part of the funding required to put out a quality product, so your support is greatly appreciated!” says the band.

The privately released Limited Edition will contain an additional bonus track and some extra booklet pages that will not appear on the InsideOut release in April.

The current lineup of the band includes Alan Morse on guitar & vocals; Dave Meros on bass, bass pedals, keyboards & vocals; Ryo Okumoto on keyboards & vocals; Ted Leonard on lead vocals, guitar; and Jimmy Keegan on drums & vocals.
