Van Der Graaf Generator have decided to put two rarely performed long-form pieces at the center of their new tour as a treat for their fans. Presented for the first time in the trio format, the first piece is Flight – originally a solo project from band frontman, Peter Hammill and the K group he formed in the late 1970s; followed by A Plague of Lighthouse-Keepers, which the band released in 1972 as part of their album Pawn Hearts.

About the latter the band says: ‘We will not be attempting to recreate the album version but hope to come up with a new, in-the-present approach to this important piece from our past, which has only been played live a handful of times before now. It’s a scary prospect, but very exciting!

Tickets £15 – 25
