Orenda Records has announced the release of Daily Thumbprint Collection 3, The Wandering, a new album of progressive instrumental music made by drummer and composer Caleb Dolister.
Dolister envisioned an album with a large instrumental soundsdcape. Throughout a decade, he traveled across the United States, recording his music with twenty three masterful jazz, rock and classical musicians. The end result, Daily Thumbprint Collection 3, The Wandering is the third solo release by Dolister in his Daily Thumbprint Collection series.
Although the project started as a solo electronica work, it evolved into writing for ensembles. Dolister is known as a drummer and composer for The Kandinsky Effect, DR. MiNT, and other post-jazz and avant rock groups.
