Jakko M Jakszyk (King Crimson) has launched the music video ‘The Trouble With Angels’, animated by Iranian filmmaker Sam Chegini, created in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic. The single will appear in Jakko M Jakszyk’s new solo album ‘Secrets & Lies,’ scheduled for release on October 23rd, 2020.
Jakko explains: “The innate urge to reach out to a stranger, following a chance meeting in Monte Carlo. Combined with the monochrome memories of Wim Wenders ‘Wings Of Desire’. Where a moment of crisis is redefined by something magical. ‘The Trouble With Angels’.”
The album includes Jakszyk together with his King Crimson bandmates Robert Fripp, Gavin Harrison, Tony Levin & Mel Collins, as well as appearances from John Giblin (Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, Simple Minds), Mark King (Level 42), Peter Hammill (Van der Graff Generator) and British comedian Al Murray.
