Potter’s Daughter – Casually Containing Rage (MRR, 2020)

Potter’s Daughter plays a genre-bending form of progressive music, incorporating progressive rock, pop, jazz and avant-garde vocal elements.

Casually Containing Rage is a 3-track EP that highlights the group’s stellar and innovative vocal work of singer and keyboardist Dyanne Potter Voegtlin. The album also features the spectacular guitar solos of Amit Chatterjee; and the multifaceted performances of multi-instrumentalist Jan-Christian Vögtlin.

The third song on the EP raises issues of social justice in the United States.

The rest of the artists on the album are Patrick Carmichael on drums and Tom Borthwick on soundscaping.
