Ambient music composer and performer Jeff Pearce has announced the launch of a website called infiniteambient.com. Although the new site does not replace Peacer’s main website, it now hosts two “infinite ambient music” webapps that were on his main website from 2014 to early 2020. In addition to both of those “Infinite Ambient Listening Experiences”, Pearce has added a new one, called “clouds” that features waves of ambient Chapman Stick.
Pearce provides details about the infinite ambient experience: “These “experiences” take place because of some highly tweaked random number generators. Unlike random music generators, this experience takes actual files of music I’ve recorded, and selects which file to start with. Then it moves on to the next randomly selected file, and so on and so on until you choose to stop it, or your device runs out of battery. This website is 100% free to use, so please click on an Experience and drift away.”
