Greek artist Voodoo Drummer has released an experimental, instrumental version of Pink Floyd’s “Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun” (by Roger Waters), featuring tubular bells, cello and musical saw.
In this 7/8 rhythm version, the melody combines with the theme of John Coltrane’s “A Love Supreme” while the Greek traditional piece “Milo mou kokkino” closes the recording.
The atists featured include Voodoo Drummer on drums, bells and percussion; Stavros Parginos on cello; Tasos Papapanos on bass; and Adrian Stout of The Tiger Lillies on musical saw.
