American synthesist Hollan Holmes continues to delight with his album Milestones. Holmes has become one of the current masters of cosmic, sequencer-driven electronic music, adopting the best of pioneering Berlin school artists as well as current electronic music, incorporating floating music ambient layers, spoken word recordings and sound effects. In other words, “Milestones” is engaging, masterfully constructed and deeply mesmerizing.
Hollan Holmes used Propellerhead Reason 9 and 10 software and Presonus Studio One 4 to produce the album.
