Transworld Identity released their debut album Seven Worlds on March 17th of 2023, on Frontiers Music S.r..l. The band is a new Finnish/English rock band featuring vocalist Mila Bosa; guitarist Mika “Lamppari” Lamminsivu; keyboardist Juha “Junnu” Kinnunen; bassist Kasperi Kinnunen; and drummer Lacu Lahtinen.
They draw inspiration from the core foundations of hard rock. After honing her skills as the frontwoman of a hard rock covers band, Mila Bosa is the inspiration for the formation of the new band, Transworld Identity, as a way to perform on a larger stage and fulfill her musical vision.
The music on this album reminds me of some of the best hard rock, melodic mixes of the 1980s. Every song on this disc is a keeper and full of emotion and hard rock chops. Great lyrics help complete the enterprise, which makes this band unique and memorable.
My favorite tracks are: the opener, “Everything Must Burn”, “Part Maroon, Part Indigo”, (with its excellent keyboards, ABBA – like vocals, and guitar solos), “Time”, the hard grinding title track, “Seven Worlds”, “Living on the Run”, a Journey-like rocker, “Never Lost My Faith”, and the excellent fun, closer, “Roseate”.
Check this album out. It is worthy of your time and consideration. It is a great balance of heavy electric guitars and brilliant keyboards, supported well with bass and smashing drums. Already looking forward to the next one!
