Johan Agebjörn’s album Subtracted Soundscapes features reworked versions of eight of his previous pieces. These new versions are rhythm free and emphasize warmth and serenity. The Swedish artist elegantly interweaves magnetic piano with spellbinding ambient atmospheres, thus creating a heavenly world of wonder and respite.
Although these recreations retain key elements of the original music, Johan Agebjörn uses techniques like lowpass-filtering, slowing down the pace, adding reverb, and applying different mixing approaches.
