Bruford, one of the finest fusion bands of its era, is reissuing its superb album One Of a Kind on 12” Vinyl. One Of a Kind features a timeless mix of progressive rock and Canterbury-infused jazz-rock, with memorable melodies and stellar instrumental work.
Bill Bruford was the original drummer in YES during their progressive rock era, and was a long-term member of seminal band King Crimson.
The band Bruford recorded this superb album back in 1979, and it went on to achieve critical acclaim and commercial success. The line-up on One Of a Kind is Bill Bruford on drums, percussion; the innovative and unforgettable Allan Holdsworth on electric guitar; Dave Stewart on keyboards; and Jeff Berlin on bass.
This 12″ vinyl re-issue has been mastered from the original 1979 mix, taken from the original 1979 analog tapes, and comes housed in a replica sleeve. The remixing was done by Jakko Jakszyk (the lead singer of the current line-up of King Crimson) and has been approved by Bill Bruford.
This definitive vinyl re-release is re-issued on Bruford’s own Winterfold Records and was overseen personally by Bill Bruford.
