Ambient electronic music artist Jeff Pearce has released a video for “The Last Rains of October.” It is an improvisation that took place in the last days of October 2023, during a much-needed late night rain shower.
Even though this song chronicles “the last rains of October,” it is also a tribute to Emmett Chapman, the creator of the Chapman Stick, who left this world on November 1st, 2021.
