Spanish electronic music sound designer Juan Dahmen has released his latest album, Ecos Paralelos, an engaging ambient project that examines fear and regret through a calm, reflective lens. The record presents a single track, 37:50 minutes-long, where the drone zone meets experimental sounds.
The album focuses on the sound of the charming flute-like sound of a melodeon-looking electronic musical instrument called the Suzuki Andes, complemented by field recordings of rain. Together, these elements create a restrained and contemplative atmosphere that emphasizes presence and the idea of multiple parallel experiences.
