American progressive rock band Glass Hammer has released a digital only album titled A Matter of Time Volume 1. The band’s founders, multi-instrumentalists Steve Babb and Fred Schendel selected their favorite songs from Glass Hammer’s catalog in thew 1990s and re-imagined and re-recorded the tracks.

The results is a deeply satisfying set of symphonic progressive rock with epic instrumental work and excellent guest vocalists. The keyboards play an essential role with the band channeling Keith Emerson and Rick Wakeman-style electric organ, mellotron and synths throughout the album.
